Nintendo Has a Mystery Movie Scheduled for April 2028 - IGN Daily Fix

Nintendo has an untitled Illumination event film scheduled for April 12, 2028, continuing their collaboration with the animation studio responsible for the Mario movies. This follows the highly anticipated live-action *Legend of Zelda* film in 2027. With *Super Mario Galaxy* earning over $800 million, a third installment seems likely, though a 2028 release is fast. A *Donkey Kong* film, copyrighted last July, is a possibility, or perhaps a *Luigi's Mansion*, *Star Fox*, or *Pikmin* movie. *Super Mario Galaxy* will be on digital platforms May 5th. *Resident Evil Recreum* is getting new DLC next month: a minigame replaying main story battles, unlocked after clearing the main game. This could be a "mercenaries mode." Amiibo for Grace and Leon will offer exclusive weapon skins and unused voice clips for the Switch 2 version. Larger story DLC for *Recreum* is still in development. *Sorrowos*, from the creators of *Returnal*, launches April 30th on PS5. Players are Arjun Devraj, a Sultari enforcer on the shape-shifting world of Carcosa, seeking answers amidst dark secrets and hostile inhabitants. The game features permanent progression and an ensemble cast, as your crew succumbs to madness.
