This summary details the significant changes introduced to Crimson Desert within its first month, covering patches released from March 13th to April 11th. The game, initially played by reviewers and content creators for about 10 days before any changes, saw numerous updates that substantially altered gameplay. The first major patch on March 13th brought several key improvements. Inventory space was more than doubled, increasing from 20 to 50 slots. Additionally, inventory expansion items, previously only obtainable through quests, became purchasable from vendors. Players also received bonus inventory slots upon unlocking new characters: five slots for Damian, another five for establishing the Greymane camp, and five more for unlocking Unka. This patch also introduced the ability to summon allies under specific conditions and added a mechanism to stop falls in the abyss by clicking the left stick, resetting the player to solid ground. A basic photo mode was implemented, and a critical bug fix ensured that players entering Scholastone via any route other than the hidden cave could learn focus force palm before chapter 9, preventing issues with mining bismuth or solving puzzles. Abyss artifacts, which were previously valuable for selling, were made unsellable.

Pragmata, Capcom's second RE engine-based game, offers gameplay reminiscent of the Xbox 360 era but boasts significantly improved visuals. Built on the Resident Evil engine, it runs exceptionally well across a broad spectrum of hardware, even performing adequately on the Nintendo Switch. Most gaming PCs should be able to run Pragmata without major issues, though optimizing the balance between image quality and performance is key. High-end machines with cards like the RTX 5080 might simply crank all settings, including path tracing and frame generation, to maximum. However, for the majority of players, some thoughtful adjustments can yield substantial benefits. The game is primarily set on a lunar space station, featuring numerous reflective surfaces and intricate lighting effects that are well-suited for ray tracing. While ray tracing undeniably enhances the game's aesthetics, its full potential is largely accessible only to users with high-end Nvidia graphics cards. Pragmata offers two main types of ray tracing: a general toggle for RT global illumination and reflections, and path tracing, which completely replaces the rasterized lighting engine with ray tracing. Surprisingly, in environments with many shiny surfaces, the standard ray-traced reflections can sometimes degrade the visual quality. This is particularly noticeable in the hideout, a recurring hub, where metallic floors with a dark gray reflective sheen look excellent with path-traced lighting but exhibit incredibly noisy reflections from indirect lighting at lower ray-traced settings. In one hallway, this setting created an illusion of raindrops indoors in outer space. Interestingly, these specific floors appear better with no ray tracing at all, which is a boon for performance optimization. Conversely, in areas with more transparent reflective surfaces, ray tracing genuinely looks fantastic. However, the trade-off of noisy, static floors makes this less appealing. For Nvidia cards, DLSS ray reconstruction could offer a solution, but it's only available when path tracing is enabled, likely due to its performance cost, yet it would significantly improve baseline ray tracing, especially when combined with upscaling. For those with mid-to-high-end Nvidia cards, path tracing is highly recommended for its incredible visual impact, though it's currently unavailable for AMD graphics cards, even with FSR.

WWE superstar Kit Wilson ranks video game characters on a toxicity scale from 0 to 10. He rates Sonic as 0 out of 10, admiring his non-toxic nature. Minecraft's Steve is deemed 10 out of 10 toxic, despite Wilson's limited knowledge of the character. Mario also scores a 0 out of 10 for his consistent efforts to save Princess Peach. Nathan Drake from Uncharted receives a 10 out of 10 for being a womanizer and a killer, with Wilson stating he "killed thousands." Solid Snake initially gets a 1 out of 10 for murders, but this increases to 7 out of 10 upon the revelation that he smokes cigars. Kratos is rated 9 out of 10 for turning anger into aggression.

This guide provides a comprehensive walkthrough for finding all key collectibles in Pragmata's second sector, the mass production array, to achieve a 100% map score. While not every file and hologram is required, players must locate every safe box, read earth memory, and upgrade. Cabin buddies are also included as a bonus. To begin, the Limb Eraser is essential for the first two safe boxes at the test site entrance, and it's acquired in this level just before hacking the final antenna in the Limb Recycling Center. After obtaining it, return to the main street. On the left side, a diner entrance is blocked by a botched print; use the Limb Eraser to clear it and find a chest with a cabin coin. Directly across the street, at the Novell shop, erase the Limb blocking the entrance to find another safe box containing filament. The final safe box in this area is accessible after returning to the test site from the business district. From the roof where a bridge extends, look right to spot a chest on a rooftop below; use the jetpack to reach it for an upgrade component.

Pokémon Champions aims to continue the legacy of battle-centric Pokémon games, focusing on online PvP using the classic turn-based combat system. While it visually and mechanically resembles mainline Pokémon games, its lack of substantial content prevents it from being a definitive battling experience. Players build teams of six Pokémon for 3v3 single battles or 4v4 double battles, with moves chosen simultaneously. The core combat system, which combines reading opponents, strategy, and luck, remains enjoyable despite occasional bugs that the developer has been addressing since release. However, the game suffers from a significant lack of content. Despite being a dedicated battling game, the options for engagement are limited to 3v3 or 4v4 battles, with no option to bring out a full roster of six Pokémon into a single fight. There are no single-player challenges, offline options, or features reminiscent of past games like the Gym Leader Castle gauntlet. This content deficiency extends to the Pokémon roster itself, featuring a mere 186 Pokémon. Many popular Pokémon, early evolutions, and significant legendaries like Mewtwo and Mew are notably absent, leaving glaring holes. While future live service updates are expected to fill these gaps, the current selection is disappointing, especially for the competitive community.

Welcome to Beyond the Light episode 4, where we delve into the soundtrack and in-game audio for 007 First Light. Ari introduces Dominic Vega, the audio and missions director at IO Interactive, and The Flight, the composing duo behind the game's music. Dominic Vega, who has been with the project for about four years, explains that the core of the Bond experience revolves around the character and his mission. The audio department begins early in the concept phase, thinking about musical motifs for characters, the sound of different locations, and necessary sound sources to record. They also consider accents, acoustic layouts, and how elements like reverberation and reflection will function in the game. Linear mock-ups are created, and extensive source recording takes place, alongside prototyping in the engine from day one. This iterative process involves close collaboration with designers, with the audio team inspiring other elements of the game and vice-versa.

Happy Friday, everybody. Max here with your fix of gaming and gaming related news. Coming up, rumors of a new membership tier for Xbox Game Pass, plus some updates on movies based on a couple Game Pass games, Call of Duty and Gears of War. Let's get into it. Since day one, there's been a lot of talk about the price of Xbox Game Pass. Initially, the concern was that it was too cheap to be sustainable for game development, and it still might be. But after some price hikes, the conversation has shifted to whether it was too expensive for the average consumer. Well, Microsoft is well aware of these concerns, and it sounds like a new membership tier might be rolling out in an effort to find a happy medium. Earlier this week, The Verge's Tom Warren reported that Xbox's new CEO, Asha Chararma, had stated in an internal memo to Microsoft employees that Game Pass has become too expensive for players. Now, Warren reports that plans are underway for a new Game Pass tier that would be limited to first-party games published by Xbox Game Studios. That's definitely nothing to scoff at since Xbox's current stable of in-house properties includes Call of Duty, Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, Diablo, Halo, Forza, and Gears of War, just to name a few. And over the course of the next 8 months, we are expecting Fortza Horizon 6, Halo Combat Evolved, Gears of War Eday, Fable, and the next Call of Duty, rumored to be Modern Warfare 4. Supposedly, Chararma's long-term plan for Game Pass is to evolve it into quote, "a more flexible system which will take time to test and learn around." What do you all make of this? Does a first-p party Xbox game studios membership tier sound appealing, or would you be more interested in one that's like a mixed bag of third-party offerings, or maybe just one that's full of smaller indie titles? Sound off in the comments. Personally, I don't know. I'm skeptical. I guess it depends how much it costs. How much should it cost? Activision Blizzard first announced plans for a Call of Duty cinematic universe way back in 2015 with ambitious plans across film and TV. Obviously, that hasn't come to fruition yet, but it's still a possibility assuming the recently reannounced Call of Duty feature film does well enough. It was revealed during Paramount Cineacon presentation this week that the Call of Duty movie, which doesn't have an official title yet, will be hitting theaters on June 30th, 2028. As previously announced, Peter Berg is attached to direct, best known for his work on Hancock, Battleship, and four Mark Wahlberg movies that were based on true stories that did not actually involve Mark Wahlberg in real life. Berg is co-writing with Taylor Sheridan, currently best known for his work on Yellowstone, but also he wrote Sakario, which rips. You should watch Sakario this weekend. That's a good movie. Anyway, it feels a little weird to be talking about a Call of Duty movie that is two years away since two Call of Duty games will likely come out between now and then, and a third one will probably have been announced, but who knows, maybe we'll start getting COD movies every year now, too. Speaking of feature films based on 20-year-old game franchises about dudes shooting each other, there's also Gears of War. David Leech of John Wick, Deadpool 2, and Atomic Blonde fame is currently attached to direct. And in a recent interview with Collider, he gave this tidbit of an update, saying, quote, "Gears of War, I think, is going to happen. We have a great draft that's in progress that's in really great shape. The studio is more determined than ever to make it." He added that Netflix is 100% behind it, and that Gears game studio, The Coalition, is fired up as well. So, that's not exactly a hard release date, but it's something. In the meantime, we do know when we'll hear more about the next game, Gears of War Eday. It's going to be headlining the Xbox Game Showcase, which is taking place on June 7th. So, mark your calendars for that one. Hey, you know what else is happening on June 7th and June 6th? IGN Live 2026. Tickets are officially on sale for this two-day celebration of gaming and entertainment in downtown LA. It'll be filled with celebrity panels, exclusive game reveals, live stage shows, giveaways, and much, much more. Early bird tickets are on sale now on show clicks, and fans can purchase one day tickets for 15 bucks or a weekend pass for 30. So, go check it out. I hope I see you there. That is your fix for April 17th, 2026. I'm Max Scoville and for all of your gaming news, you're already in the right place. IGN. Have a great weekend, everybody. Go play some video games or watch Sakario, whichever. That they're both fun.

This summary outlines key improvements for "Hello Neighbor 3," based on player feedback and analysis of "Prototype 3." The initial "Prototype 3" experience led to "choice paralysis" and abandonment by many players due to a lack of clear direction. To address this, the developers focused on three steps: defining the core story to deliver a clear message, splitting it into narrative milestones, and implementing an objective system. This system provides players with direction on where they are and where to go next, offering "guidance without dictatorship" and clarity.

These action figures are similar to the in-game magazines, offering a permanent buff when collected. There are 27 unique models, each available in sealed and unsealed versions, totaling 54 figures. The speaker discusses their experience with the endgame of Diablo IV, particularly in anticipation of the upcoming expansion, Lord of Hatred. They acknowledge past missteps in evaluating Diablo IV's endgame, admitting that initial impressions of content's longevity can be misleading. While generally enjoying Diablo IV's endgame activities like Tree of Whispers and the Vessel of Hatred raid, they found that these often became repetitive or thin after a few weeks. The core issue identified was a lack of variety, with players being directed to a small number of activities that, while fun, weren't enough to sustain engagement long-term. With this history in mind, the speaker approached the Lord of Hatred expansion's endgame with cautious optimism, hoping Blizzard would address the feedback regarding content variety and longevity. After playing several hours and speaking with developers, they believe Blizzard has indeed listened, creating a more robust endgame structure.
