Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Biggest Changes in Update 1.1.10 | PS5 Pro PSSR 2 Upgrade

Ubisoft has released title update 1.1.10 for Assassin's Creed Shadows, bringing significant technical upgrades and bug fixes. PlayStation 5 Pro owners will benefit from upgraded PSSR2 support, Sony's AI-powered upscaling technology. This feature reconstructs lower-resolution images into sharper 4K visuals, enhancing performance without compromising quality. Ubisoft states the latest implementation provides a richer, cleaner, and more stable image, particularly in demanding scenes with dense foliage, particle effects, and ray-traced lighting. Distant tree lines, moving grass, smoke, sparks, and reflections should now appear much clearer, improving the visual experience of feudal Japan. Additionally, Ubisoft has added native mouse and keyboard support to the Switch 2 version of Assassin's Creed Shadows, offering players increased precision and flexibility on Nintendo's new hardware. On the gameplay front, the bow staff weapon type is now more accessible. Non-legendary bow weapons can now drop from enemies, appear in chests, and be purchased from merchants for all players, provided at least one unique bow has been unlocked. The patch also includes minor gameplay fixes, balance tweaks, and quest progression updates, such as adjustments to status effects, stat tracking, and various quest fixes to smooth out player progression.
