Fortnite x Star Wars - Official Galactic Siege Gameplay Overview

Welcome to Star Wars Galactic Siege, a classic conquest game where you battle for control of areas between the Empire and Rebel forces in familiar Star Wars locations. Upon entering the game, you'll start in the cantina, which houses various shops for customizing your experience. A countdown at the top of the screen indicates when the next round begins. In a round, you'll be placed on either the Empire or Rebel side on a map, such as a frozen ice world or a Star Destroyer. Explore each area for features like turrets, cover, or rideable tauntauns. You can play as different classes, which unlock with credits earned during the round. Each class has unique weapons and a Force ability. The goal is to dominate by capturing control points; stand within designated areas to gain control, earning match points for your team. The team reaching 100% score wins. You earn two currencies: credits and Beskar. Credits are round-specific, used to unlock classes, and gained by eliminating enemies (10 credits) and capturing points (30 credits). Beskar saves between rounds and is earned by completing bounties and from 10% of your total credits at the end of each round. In the cantina, you spend Beskar. Customize your Force user at the Lightsaber and Force User shops. The Lightsaber shop lets you pick hilt, color, stability, and add an ability like saber throw or lightning. The Force User shop allows upgrading core attributes like health and speed, and selecting Force powers such as push, throw, pull, or lightning. These upgrades are permanent. The Droid shop offers over 1,900 combinations for customizing your companion droid's top, bottom, alloy, and effect. The bounties section lets you choose missions for the next round to earn Beskar. The calling card station allows you to equip cool backgrounds that appear when you eliminate other players, and display medals earned by completing various in-game achievements. The progression screen shows your class levels, which go up to level 99. Live events occur every few hours, sometimes allowing free selection of your Force user. The game features diverse maps, from large frozen worlds to smaller, more intimate Star Destroyer battles. The pilot class offers X-wing or TIE fighter combat, and Force users can hilariously push enemies into space. A new map, inspired by an upcoming movie, is also "coming soon."
