Welcome to another episode of the Splatoon 3 North American League 2026 show. I’m your host Jordan Kent, joined by KBOT. We’re diving straight into the highlights from Event Number Two. Our first match is a winner's semifinal between A Cute Team and Not For Radio. Goliath from A Cute Team initiates a powerful charge with an Ultra Stamp, making a crucial play. KBOT notes that this push into a smaller area helps A Cute Team gain control of the upper right side past the checkpoint, setting up Weatherman for a double splat and a push for a knockout victory. In overtime, Weatherman unleashes a barrage of Ultra Stamps, securing a sweep for A Cute Team, who then advance to the winners finals. In the winners finals, Zifius faced off against A Cute Team. Jose from Zifius started strong with an opening quad on the blaster, maintaining maximum range and sealing the deal for his team. In the Rain Maker segment, Riv and his team from Zifius found themselves in a difficult position, trying to protect a narrow lead with plenty of time left. KBOT highlights Jose's leadership as he pushes the right side, while his teammates manage the Rain Maker, ultimately securing the win for Zifius with a 3-0 sweep. Shifting to the losers semifinal, C4K took on the Honey Patchers in Tower Control. Nugget and Tuck from C4K, both wielding blasters, demonstrated excellent coverage. KBOT explains that while one blaster is typically seen poking from underneath the tower, two blasters create insurmountable damage combos, leading to a knockout victory for C4K. In Splat Zones, Goodra from C4K showed remarkable patience, securing two textbook punishes against triple splashdowns. Astro then closed out the game by taking down both remaining opponents, securing the win for C4K, who advanced with a 3-1 victory. The losers finals pitted A Cute Team against C4K. Goliath from A Cute Team displayed incredible grit, facing a Splattercolor Screen but striking at the opportune moment, catching C4K off guard. A Cute Team then worked together, spearheaded by Goliath, utilizing the high ground which KBOT emphasizes as crucial for control on any stage. Despite Tuck from C4K picking up a nice double, A Cute Team proved too strong. Silver from A Cute Team managed to slip past a Big Bubbler, stepping onto the tower in overtime to end the game, securing a 3-0 sweep and setting the stage for the Grand Finals. The Grand Finals were a rematch of the winners finals: Zifius versus A Cute Team. Jose from Zifius once again started the match with a quad, continuing his impressive performance throughout the day. His teammates, Vheev and Droid, had already laid the groundwork and inked the floor, giving Jose ample space to maneuver. This led to a quick wipeout and knockout. Game three also started with an immediate wipeout, as the Zifius duo efficiently eliminated each member of A Cute Team in isolated fights. Jay from Zifius then skillfully navigated the Rain Maker through chaos, bringing it down to 17 points and building a significant lead. Jose's earlier Big Bubbler setup was instrumental in allowing Zifius to sprint to the finish, securing a 3-0 sweep in the Grand Finals. KBOT highlights Zifius as the standout team of the week, with an undefeated record of 15 match wins and zero losses. They didn't drop a single game in any mode, achieving 34 consecutive game wins, demonstrating their readiness for the regular season. Lily’s one-second guess for the first track, "Clickbait," was incorrect; it was "Now or Never." Falcon correctly identified "Now or Never" but incorrectly guessed the artist as "Deep Cut" instead of "Seaside." For the second song, Kater guessed "Table Turf Battle Main Theme" after two seconds, which was incorrect. Falcon, after three seconds, correctly identified the song as "Bait and Click," a Salmon Run song, and then correctly named the artist as "Omega 3," earning a point.
