Minecraft's upcoming update, version 26.2 for Java and 26.30 for Bedrock, is set for release on June 16th. Other bug fixes include issues with animations, key binds, incorrect articles, button implementation, and snapshot-specific hardcore world problems. Bedrock Edition's beta and preview version 26.40.23 focused on fixing bugs related to the sulfur queue and player interfaces, along with other technical changes. Minecraft is also confirmed to be coming to Nintendo Switch 2, optimized for its more powerful hardware. The release date for Minecraft Dungeons 2 was accidentally leaked and later officially announced as September 29th, with a price of $30. The deadline to obtain the Builder's Cape is June 14th, requiring viewers to watch streams on TikTok or Twitch for a set duration. Cape codes must be redeemed by June 30th and may take up to 30 days to appear in-game. Microsoft reserves the right to modify or terminate the promotion and is not responsible for issues with Twitch or TikTok's distribution.
